On Saturday, a rainy and miserable day, I visited the studios of three different artists who were participating in a ten artist open house in the Havertown/Ardmore, PA area. It was a wonderful event despite the weather. The artists represent many different media including oil, acrylic, jewelery, pottery, ceramics, and fiber. One of the artists, Ilene Pearlman, creates very evocative art quilts out of found materials.
